A stable version of the WhatsApp application for Windows was released

Meta* has completed beta testing of the official WhatsApp application for Windows, and it is now available for downloading to everyone who wants it from Microsoft Store. The particular feature of the product is that there is no need to synchronize with the host on the user's smartphone.

Until recently, WhatsApp users on Windows computers had to interact with a web application. Now they can use a full-fledged client for an operating system that needs to make the service work faster and more smooth. The submitted WhatsApp application has a user interface corresponding to the image of the software platform.

The most notable change is that users do not need to ensure that WhatsApp is continuously launched and supported by an Internet connection to synchronize messages between the mobile and desktop versions of the Messenger. Several devices are supported to link up to four devices to the WhatsApp account without using the smartphone, while maintaining cross-encrypting.

According to available data, Meta* is currently working on the creation of a full-fledged HutsApp client for macOS. When the Apple application can be made publicly available, it is not yet known.
