Polestar will release an 884-litre electric rodster

The Swedish electric car manufacturer Polestar announced plans to produce a series of rodsters based on the O2 concept car, first demonstrated in March of this year, and the new one will be marketed under the name Polestar 6. Rodster will be equipped with a hard-cleaning roof.

A new 800-volt architecture with the capability to charge the battery block quickly. A fully electrical power plant will combine two engines with a total power of 650 kW or 884 horsepower. The torque will reach 900 Nm. A maximum speed of 250 km/h will be required from 0 to 100 km/h.

The company ' s current plans include the production of Polestar 3 and Polestar 4, as well as the luxury flagship Polestar 5: Production of these models will begin until 2025.

As far as the Polestar 6 rodster is concerned, the first buyers will not be able to obtain it until 2026. It is noted that the key systems will inherit the Polestar 5 from the Sedan, in particular the 800-volt architecture. The estimated price of the future car has not yet been reported.
