Google released a stable version of Android 13 with Pixel's smartphones first available

Google began to distribute a stable version of Android 13. Google Pixel's smartphones will be the first to be released. The final version of Android 13 was released earlier than expected. Android 12 was released last year in October, and Android 11 was released in September 2020.

In the new version of the operating system, Google focused on refining the functions that the company introduced last year with the transition of Android to a new Material You interface. For example, the QS tile editing button menu changed its location.

The number of possible color decisions of the wallpaper-based system and the main colors in the section "Otoi and style" has been increased to 16.

In the new version of the OS, the application dynamic badges can be applied to all software installed on the device, not just Google brand products.

The company has added more privacy settings. Instead of accessing all files, it is now possible to provide separate permissions to read photos, videos and each type of file. Also, for each Android 13 application, separate permits will have to be issued to send notices that will be turned off by default.

It was possible to send messages from apps, including Google Messages, directly to chromebags.

New developments also include the installation of a language different from the system for each individual application. Android 13 has the support of Bluetooth LE Audio for more efficient wireless sound transmission to wireless headphones. It also has the support of a volume sound with a head track function that changes the direction of sound in response to the rotation of the user ' s head. The company does not specify which headphone models from outside manufacturers will be supported by this technology, but Google has previously reported that it will provide such a function to its wireless headphones, Pixel Buds Pro.

It is worth noting that changes in Android that appear in Google Pixel devices do not always appear in the smartphones of other brands. Google described the new functions and opportunities that Android 13 offers on the Pixel 4, Pixel 5 and Pixel 6 smartphones.

After Pixel's smartphones, the new Android 13 operating system this year and next year will begin to receive Samsung, ASUS, Nokia, Motorola, OnePlus, Oppo, Sony, Xiaomi and other manufacturers.
