Xiaomi released a 12.4-inch Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro tablet in China. The device is significantly different from the Pad 5 Pro model introduced by the manufacturer last year. The new one is based on the Snapdragon 870 processor, received the LK screen with a 2.5K resolution and a 120 update frequency, and is equipped with a very boxed battery.
The Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 tablet has undergone many changes in its appearance against the background of last year's 11-inch Mi Pad 5 Pro model. For example, the company has reduced the width of the screen. The declared maximum luminance of the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 display is 500 cd/m2. The screen supports the colour gamma DCI-P3. It supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision technologies.
The 12.4-inch Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset. The same is used in last year's 11-inch model. A new model is proposed in configuration with 6, 8 and 12 Gbyte operating, as well as 128, 256 and 512 Gbyte permanent memory.
The back block of the camera in the device is similar to the one in the Xiaomi 12 series smartphones. It consists of three modules. The main 50 Mp sensor is composed of two 2-Mp depth sensors. The front camera is represented by 20-Mp sensor.
The new sound is controlled by a system of four dynamics and a pair of microphones. The battery of a 10000 mAh device supports a rapid charge of 67 W. According to the manufacturer, the battery's full charge takes only 68 minutes. The device operates under the control of MIUI 13.
In China, the new product is already on the market and is offered in black, silver and green versions of the hull.
