MSI introduced the G2422 cybersport monitor at 170 Hz update frequency

MSI announced the G2422 monitor for cybersportsmen, performed on the 23.8 inch IPS matrix and the Full HD resolution, 1920 x 1080 pixels. The new one has a traditional flat shape, and the screen has a narrow frame at the sides and top.

The update rate is 170 Hz, MPRT response time is 1 ms. 86.52 per cent Adobe RGB, 81.64 per cent DCI-P3 and 102.58 per cent sRGB color space coverage.

The monitor has a brightness of 250 cd/m2, a contrast of 1100:1 and a dynamic contrast of 100000000:1. The angles of vision are up to 178 degrees vertically and horizontally. By means of a stand, the display angle can be adjusted to within 25 degrees.

FreeSync Premium technology helps to correct frame gaps and improve the smoothness of the game process. The Anti-Flicker and Less Blue Light systems are responsible for reducing the eye load. The Night Vision tool improves the visibility of dark areas of the image.

There are two HDMI 1.4b interfaces, DisplayPort 1.2a and 3.5 mm audio alarm interfaces. With the VESA attachment, the panel can be hung on the wall. The price is not reported.
