Fractal Design introduced Define 7 Nano for compact PCs

Fractal Design has announced the "Define 7 Nano" building, which allows for the creation of a small form-based desktop computer, and the use of the Mini-ITX and Mini-DTX momboards is permitted.

The new one has a laconic design with aluminum front panel. The left side wall can be made of coated glass or metal. In the second case, the absorbent material is used. The total dimensions are 399 x 205 x 361 mm and the weight is 7.1 kg.

Spaces are provided for only two expansion maps. The length of the graphic accelerator may be up to 331 mm. The computer may be equipped with one 3.5/2.5 inch data storage device and two 2.5 inch devices.

Ventilators shall be mounted according to the following diagram: 2 x 120/140 mm in front, 2 x 120 mm or 1 x 140 mm in top, 1 x 120 mm in rear and 1 x 120 mm in bottom. Liquid cooling may be deployed with a frontal radiator up to 280 mm and a rear radiator 120 mm in height. The processor cooler may reach 167 mm.

The upper interface block contains USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C, two USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, 3.5 mm headphones and microphones.
