The Avtowaza authorities announced a manufacturing shift: the LADA Vesta model will be moved from Izhevsk to Tolyatti to the B0 line, and the LADA-Izhevsk company will be producing an innovative LADA e-Largus electric vehicle this year, which will be available in three versions.
The electric version of the Largus will be available in the 5- and 7-seat versions, which will receive a range of 350-400 km, as well as in the van version, which will be limited to 250 km, which is offset by its 800 kg load capacity. For traction batteries, the final decision has not yet been taken, but the manufacturer is considering options for nickel-cobalt-magnetic or lithium-iron-phosphate batteries.
The LADA e-Largus model will have a modern installation: it will have a multimedia system, a rear-view camera, a stabilization system, an airbag system, as well as an ABS. The power steering unit will be replaced by an electrical amplifier; this is done deliberately to provide the car with an automatic parking system in the long run. The LADA e-Largus mass production will be launched at the Jevese plant in 2023. The AvtoVAA management will place a high rate on the updated model. The demand for it will determine time, but it is noted that the Udmurty enterprise will be able to produce tens of thousands of electric vehicles a year.
In the spring of 2023, a collection of the LADA Vesta model will begin on the Taliattin Conveyer B0, which has a capacity of 60 cars per hour.
