Developers from the independent studio Dead Drop presented the debut trailer Outbrook: Shades of Horror, a survival simulation with elements of horror about a city infested with zombies.
The events of Outbreak: Shades of Horror are taking place in the city of Sypress Ridge in September 1999, and four heroes will have to try to survive by extracting supplies, creating supplies, solving riddles and fighting the walking dead.
There are several unique features of Shades of Horror, one of which is the opportunity to play for almost anyone who survives in the city, in which case the player gets the unique skills of the resident and can even get into his story. If the player's character dies, he will be reborn as a zombie and start hunting his ex-partners.
Another feature of the game is the availability of three camera modes at once.
Outbreak: Shades of Horror will be released on PC, Google Stadia, PS5, Xbox Series X and S. The release date will be announced later, and the Kickstarter fund-raising campaign will be launched on August 31. The project's demo is available for study on all the platforms listed.
