The tablet supply is already declining for the fourth quarter in a row

Canallys reports that worldwide deliveries of personal computers, including tablets, decreased by 13.6 per cent in the second quarter of this year compared to the same period of 2021, amounting to approximately 105.0 million units.

In the tablet segment, there was an annual decrease of 10.9 per cent, from 39.0 million to 34.8 million.

The largest supplier of tablets remains Apple, with 34.8% in the second quarter of 2022, followed by Samsung with 20.0% and Lenovo with 10.1%, and Amazon and Huawei, which control 9.5% and 4.9% of the market respectively.

If you look at the PC market as a whole, it's led by Lenovo, which is 19.9% of the total. Apple is ranked second with 15.8%, third with 12.9%. Then Dell is holding 12.7% of the industry. The Samsung five is closed with a 7.3% result. All other suppliers together control 31.3% of the world's personal computer industry.

Analysts believe that the market can also show another decline in the current quarter, which is related, inter alia, to the prevailing geopolitical situation and high inflation.
