The Chinese company Innosilicon, as promised, introduced Fantasy's new generation's own graphics processor, and the Fantasy No. 2 chip was found to be even weaker than Fantasy No. 1's previous generation of decisions presented by the manufacturer last autumn.

According to Innosilicon, the Fantasy No. 2 processor provides performance in FP32 operations at 1.5 Tflops. By comparison, one of the Fantasy No. 1 chips produces up to 5 Tflops. A video map based on two of these GPUs produces up to 10 Tflops. The manufacturer emphasizes that the advantage of Fantasy No.2 is not that of productivity but that of energy use. The TDP of Fantasy No. 2 graphic processors may vary from 4 to 15 W. Fantasy No.1 chips have a range of 20 to 50 W.

The Chinese graphic designer only reported the technical characteristics of Fantasy No. 2 chip without announcing the video map on the basis of it. According to Innosilicon, Fantasy No. 2 will be able to work on solutions that do not require active cooling, which may be useful, for example, for installation systems.

The Graphic Processor maintains the memory of the LPDDR5X/5/4X/4 standards 2, 4 and 8 Gbyte, which provides a speed of up to 10 Gbit/s to contact and a total capacity of up to 102 Gbyte/s. The chip supports the PCIe 3.0 x8 interface. The solutions at its base can offer up to two HDMI 2.0, one DisplayPort and eDP1.4, one VGA and one LVDS.

The company also indicates a performance of 12.5 Tops at 48 Gpix/s, which is significantly lower than Fantasy No. 1 chips.

The Fantasy No. 2 Graphic processor is designed to be used in desktop and mobile video cards as well as in built-in systems.
