The free-of-charge co-operative runner Vanguard from Remedy needed more time to develop

The Finnish studio Remedy Entertainment, in a recent report to investors, reported on changes in the timing of the development of a free-of-charge cooperative shooter code-named Vanguard.

Vanguard's been doing it for years, but he still hasn't gotten out of the concept test, but in May 2022, Remedy said it was a game.

It was reported that in order to improve the quality of the Vanguard in Remedy, they decided to extend the concept test period and to postpone the significant expansion of the development team until 2023.

As a result of the situation with Vanguard and below the expected volume of the game royalties, Remedy's projections changed by the rest of the year: revenues would not rise compared to 2021 and operating profits would fall, although earlier growth was expected.

Vanguard is created for PCs and unnamed consoles in cooperation with the Chinese company Tencent.
