SK hynix presented the Solidigm consumer SSD under its brand in memory of 3D NAND QLC

==History==Solidigm, formed by SK hynix after the purchase of Intel's NAND flash memory unit last year, introduced a series of P41 Plus PCIe 4.0 x4 consumer hard storage devices.

Solidigm P41 Plus storage devices use Silicon Motion SM2269XT controllers that do not have DRAM buffer memory and 144 layered flash memory chips from 3D NAND QLC. The controller supports the PCI Express 4.0 interface and the NVMe 1.4 specification. The storage will be available in M22280, M22242 and M22230. The SSD versions in the last two formats will be distributed through OEM manufacturers with laptops and ready-made PCs.

For the P41 Plus series, the speed of consecutive reading to 4,125 Mbytes/s is stated, while the speed of consecutive recording is 3325 Mbytes/s. At the same time, the new performance in random recording operations reaches 390,000 IOPS and the random reading is 540,000 IOPS.

One of the key features of the new Solidigm P41 Plus series is the Synergy software that is being offered to them, which increases the speed of random reading and recording operations when filling the SLC cache memory, with models of 512 Gbyte, 1 and 2 Tbyte of 75, 150 and 300 Gbyte, respectively.

For the younger model, the company states a resource of 200 Tbyte re-recorded information, for the models of 1 and 2 Tbyte - 400 and 800 Tbyte re-records respectively. The manufacturer offers five years of guarantee for new products. The company does not name the cost of the savers; however, it is not expected to be high on the basis of the characteristics.
