The web-based pirate action Skull and Bones will not focus on storytelling, as announced by the director of the game, Ryan Barnard, in an interview with True Advances, who wants gamers to create their own stories and choose which pirate they want to be.
Some of the narrative elements in Skull and Bones will be present. The story will be revealed through important non-game characters and contracts with them. But Ubisoft Singapure developers have only prescribed the general rules of the world, and they have not worked in detail.
The Skull & Bones character development system is called Infamy, which will donate access to drawings of different types of ships, weapons and armor. Ryan Barnard has made it clear that such design documents need to be given special attention in the process of researching the world of the game.
The gameplay of the pirate action Skull and Bones was described in detail at the beginning of last month and will be marketed on November 8, 2022 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X and S, as well as Google Stadia and Amazon Luna cloud services.
