ASUS released a new Chromebook CX1 with a 14" Full HD display

ASUS announced a new laptop computer called Chromebook CX1 under the Chrome OS operating system, based on the Intel hardware platform.

The laptop is equipped with a 14-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a brightness of 250 cd/m2. 45 per cent coverage of the NTSC colour space is provided. The screen covers approximately 77 per cent of the cover area that can be opened 180 degrees.

The Pentium Silver processor with four computing cores has been installed. The maximum operating memory is 16 Gbyte. The eMMC flash drive is used as a storage device with a capacity of 32 or 64 Gbyte.

The new design is made in the high-tension housing in accordance with MIL-STD 810H. The declared autonomous operation time on one battery charge is 12 hours, weighing the device approximately 1.47 kg.

The equipment includes a Wi-Fi 6 wireless adapter, a microSD slot, a 720p webcam, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A and USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, a 3.5 mm standard audio underlay.

Unfortunately, there is no indication of the estimated price of the new limp at this time.
