Sony introduced an official licensed mobile controller for iPhone called Backbone One - PlayStation Edition. The device is created by Backbone and compatible with the current iPhone model. It allows both mobile and console games to be played.
Visually represented controller with an iPhone is similar to PS Vita, but for some reason Backbone has maintained the analog position of the Sticks as in the Xbox controller. It can be used with different versions of Apple smartphones, from iPhone 13 Mini to iPhone 13 Pro Max. The Corps is made in black and white colours, as well as the DualSense controller for PlayStation 5. In design, the novel is much like the standard Blackbone One controller released in 2020. The Backbone One - PlayStation Edition can be used for games in Apple Arcade, Xbox Game Pass and Stadia.
There's an iPhone controller through Lightning port, and a standard 3.5-millimeter headphone connection is available. The Buckbone Orange button is performing the same function as the PS button in Remote Play. Backbone confirmed that this version of the controller would be exclusive for iPhone. The development of an Android smartphone controller is under way. Its launch is scheduled to take place in the fall of this year.
