Qualcomm and Samsung expanded strategic partnership until 2030

Qualcomm and Samsung have announced an expansion of strategic partnership: the Korean electronic giant will be able to use the technology of the American developer for the rest of the decade, and will continue to use Snapdragon processors in its products.

Two companies were able to agree to extend the licence agreement for the use of proprietary solutions in 3G, 4G, 5G and even 6G until the end of 2030. Qualcomm will also increase the supply of Samsung Snapdragon processors to be used in the Samsung Galaxy series, including smartphones, tablet and personal computers, advanced reality devices and other gadgets.

The head of Qualcomm, Kristiano Amon, also noted the long-term strategic partnership of the two companies and praised the work of the American developer: in his view, "innovation technologies of Qualcomm played a leading role in the development of the mobile industry".
