It's going to be sold at an international tender run by the Angolan state company Sodiam.

The Agency notes that colour diamonds are less likely to be colourless and have become much more expensive in recent years; for example, in Hong Kong, a 15.1 carat Blue Cullinan De Beers diamond was sold in April for $57.5 million.

The find was rated 170 carats, and the diamond was named Rosa Lullo because it was found in the Lulu mine.

However, the diamond needs to be cut and polished first to understand its true value, the result of which can lose 50% of its weight.
