Galax announced a new family of monitors called Prisma: devices are designed to perform day-to-day tasks in the office or in the home.
The series has two models, PR-01 and PR-02, with a diagonal of 24 and 27 inches respectively, both based on the VA Full HD matrix with the 1920 × 1080 pixels resolution.
The panels have a frequency of renewal of 75 Hz and a response time of 8 ms. The brightness is 250 cd/m2, contrasts of 3,000:1. The angles of vision are 178 degrees horizontal and vertical. 8-bit color representation is used in the novels: the number of reproducible shades is 16.7 million.
It's about compatibility with the G-Sync technology, which is designed to make the image more smooth by removing the gaps in the frame. Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free tools reduce eye fatigue during long hours of work.
Monitors are equipped with a USB Type-C port with the ability to supply up to 65 W of energy to a connected device, such as a laptop. In addition, there are interfaces HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort and standard audio alarms. The price is not specified.
