Rumor: The new Call of Duty multiplayer: Modern Warfare 2 was moved to September

Tested insider Tom Henderson reported on a change in the timing of the demonstration by military shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 from Infinity Ward.

Remember, Call of Duty's plot campaign: Modern Warfare 2 was introduced in early June, while the debut multi-user component was expected throughout August.

According to Henderson's informants, the plans of the Activation Blizzard have changed, and the multiplayer Modern Warfare 2 is now due to present in early September, before the start of the Beta, which is announced for the second half of the month.

Henderson notes that such a late multi-user display of the release may be a cause for concern, but the Modern Warfare 2 advertising campaign has been planned for several months and will gain momentum after the beta.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be released on October 28 at PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. It will also be launched before the end of the year, with the release of the Royal Quarter-Free Battle Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0.
