Sapphire released a special Radeon RX 6500 XT with 8 Gbyte GDDR6 memory

Sapphire became the first AMD partner to officially present a version of the Radeon RX 6500 XT video card with 8 GDR memory Gbyte.6 This was reported by the manufacturer via his Twitter page. The normal Radeon RX 6500 XT has 4 Gbytes of memory. AMD has not yet reported the release of a double-massed novel. It is possible that Sapphire made the announcement premature.

The Radeon RX 6500 XT is based on the AMD Navi 24 graphics processor on the RDNA 2 architecture, which is produced according to the standards of the 6 nm TSMC process. The chip contains 16 executive units with 1,024 flow processors and 16 units of the beam acceleration machine.

The Graphic Processor supports the 64-bit memory tyre. The GDDR6 memory itself operates at a speed of 18 Gbit/s to contact, and ultimately the memory subsystem has a capacity of 144 Gbyte/s. The new one appears to use two memory chips of 4 Gbyte. Novinka, like the 4-Gbyte version, also has a 16-Mbyte rapid buffer Infinity Cache.

In the 4 Gbyte version, the GPU game frequency is 2,610 MHz and the maximum is 2,815 MHz. The 8 Gbyte game frequency is increased to 2,685 MHz and the maximum to 2,825 MHz. In other words, significant productivity increases are not expected, even though there are twice as many memory volumes.

The Radeon RX 6500 XT Pulse with 4 and 8 Gbytes of memory is 130 W, which is 23 W above the reference value. According to Sapphire, the 8 Gbyte version of the map is already on the market. However, the company did not specify its value. In comparison, the US Redeon RX 6500 XT with 4 Gbyte of memory is now offered less than $200.
