MSI submitted a G2722 monitor for cybersport with 170 Hz update frequency

MSI announced the G2722 monitor for cybersportsmen: the new one is built on the IPS matrix of traditional flat shape with a diagonal of 27 inches and a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

The panel has a rate of renewal of 170 Hz and the MPRT response time is 1 ms. The luminance, contrast and dynamic contrast values are 250 cd/m2, 1,100:1 and 100000000:1. The horizontal and vertical angles of vision are 178 degrees. 16.7 million color shades are being replicated. The colour area of Adobe RGB is 85.67%; the space DCI-P3 is 81.1%; and the space of sRGB is 101.91%.

FreeSync Premium has been implemented, which removes the effect of the frame rupture, which helps to improve the smoothness of the game process. The Night Vision system allows for a better view of the enemies hiding in the dark. Anti-Flicker and Less Blue Light reduce the burden on the eyes during long game sessions.

The monitor is equipped with two HDMI 1.4b interfaces, DisplayPort 1.2a and standard audio alarms. Only the screen angle may be adjusted. It can be mounted on the wall by means of a VESA attachment.
