Rumors: The third season will be the last season for a conditional free Roller Champions sports arca

Journalist Giant Bomb Jeff Grabb, as part of a recent release of the XboxEra podcast, spoke about the future of the free-of-charge Roller Champions sports arc by Ubisoft and Ubisoft Montreal.

The Roller Champions was introduced as early as June 2019, but did not reach the release until almost three years later, in May 2022. The game appears to be doing better than the Royal Battle of Hyper Scape, which was closed in April.

According to Grabba's source, however, Roller Champions' long life is not part of Ubisoft's plans, and the project's support is supposed to be phased out at the end of the third content season.

The Roller Champions season began in June and ended in August.

Roller Champions is available on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. In the game, two roller teams ride round and fight for the ball to be thrown into a special gate.
