OnePlus has announced the date of the launch of its next flagship smartphone, OnePlus 10T, which was due this month. The launch of the new one, scheduled for 3 August, will be the first event of the company since 2019, which will take place in a familiar environment, with the participation of guests and the press, rather than in a virtual format. The event will begin at 10:00 ET.
The main feature of the new smartphone will be the mobile platform Snapdragon 8+gen 1, introduced in May, which, according to the manufacturer, represents a 10 per cent increase in productivity over the previous version of the chip and a 30 per cent reduction in energy consumption.
The Snapdragon 8+gen 1 processor combines eight computing cores, including the Kryo Prime core with a tactical frequency of up to 3.2 GHz, the three Kryo Performance kernels with a frequency of up to 2.8 GHz, the four Kryo Efficiency kernels with a frequency of up to 2.0 GHz, and the Snapdragon X655G modem.
According to rumours, OnePlus 10T is equipped with a 6.7-inch LTPO 2.0 E4 AMOLED with a FHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz update frequency. The device received a 32-Mp frontal camera and a triple back chamber. 4,800 mAh battery with fast 150-W charging support will provide long-term autonomous operation.
The smartphone will be delivered from OxygenOS 13 on Android 13. In addition to the new features of the Android platform, an improved personalization of the user interface, well-designed design and much more are expected.
