Riot acquired a significant share of the animation studio that created Arcane

Critics and public viewers call "Arcane" one of the best animation shows of our time. The Rio Games was so pleased with the end result that it decided to establish a relationship with the French studio Fortiche Productions, which is responsible for the show.

The company decided to do so by acquiring a "significant," but not a controlling, equity interest in Fortiche. The purchase is not disclosed. The company's board of directors was joined by the content manager, Riot Brian Wright, and the economic director, Brendan Mulligan.

We're looking forward to announce that we've invested in Fortiche Production, the incredible animation Studio that broucht a spectrum oftal ranging from @arcaneshow to moments like "Get Jinxed"! https://t.co/VhjTxftY pic.twitter.com/tjQoSI87a0

Riot and Fortiche have been working together for a long time, starting in 2013 with a video presentation by Jinks, one of the characters of League of Legends, and a video studio for Imagine Dragons and K/DA.

The companies are currently engaged in the production of the second season of Arkaine and other projects that have not yet been announced. At the recent Annie Award, the League of Legends series took the awards in all the categories in which they were presented, and nine grand for a minute.
